Job summary

Equiliem is seeking a Data Center Critical Operations Engineer I to operate, maintain, and troubleshoot essential data center systems in Denver. The role supports electrical, mechanical, cooling, and fire/life safety systems, working with technicians and vendors to resolve issues and maintain uptime.

The position requires experience with data center environments, knowledge of cooling and safety procedures, and the ability to communicate findings clearly.

Qualifications

• Experience operating, maintaining, or troubleshooting electrical or mechanical systems in a data center, critical facility, or similar environment.
• Working knowledge of cooling systems and facility safety procedures.
• Ability to troubleshoot equipment issues and communicate findings clearly.
• Ability to work the scheduled swing shift, Tuesday through Saturday.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and maintain critical facility systems to support data center uptime.
• Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, cooling, and fire and life safety equipment.
• Respond to system alerts and equipment issues using established procedures.
• Support customer infrastructure projects and coordinate work with technicians and vendors.
• Document work performed and communicate equipment status and operational concerns.
• Follow safety standards and identify opportunities to improve facility operations.
