Core Scientific in Dalton, GA is seeking an Assistant Manager, Critical Facilities to oversee data center operations and staff responsible for critical infrastructure, safety, and reliability. You will work with the Critical Facilities Manager to maintain 100% uptime and coordinate with technicians and contractors.

The role requires a bachelor's degree in a relevant field, 3+ years in mission-critical environments, and at least 1 year of shift-based supervision.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in a mission-critical field.
• 3+ years in mission-critical environments.
• 1+ year of direct management of shift-based employees.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to travel between centers.
• Experience with CMMS and critical infrastructure maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Assist in managing day-to-day data center operations and infrastructure.
• Build a staff of technicians to deliver 100% uptime while minimizing risk.
• Manage power, cooling capacity and monitor environmental conditions.
• Support 24/7 operations and maintenance scheduling across shifts.
• Lead in manager's absence and coordinate with contractors and vendors.
• Oversee CMMS data accuracy and generate operational reports.
• Enforce SLAs and change control activities with customers.
• Assist with site tours for current and prospective customers.
• Promote safe, professional communication within the team and with leaders.
