Critical Facilities Manager (Data Center Manager)

Base Pay Range

$140,000.00/yr - $160,000.00/yr

Key Accountabilities

• Oversee the maintenance and operation of data center facilities.
• Provide leadership, management, and development to ensure operational commitments are met and exceeded.
• Support SFCFS teams and other stakeholders in the delivery of all services within the scope of the role, providing technical service input as required to enhance company credibility.
• Ensure safety of all SFCFS personnel and equipment onsite.
• Own MEP operations across Serverfarm data center sites.
• Operate and maintain all MEP plant and distribution infrastructure in a safe manner, to best industry practice and within manufacturer recommendations.
• Work with the Construction & Project team to ensure data center sites meet all required statutory and mandatory requirements.
• Operate all site MEP infrastructure within defined capacity standards.
• Carry out all activities on site in accordance with Serverfarm Company Policies and Guidelines.

Required Skills

• Minimum of 7 years of experience in critical facilities operations within a hyperscale environment, with at least 3 years in a managerial role.
• Experience maintaining all relevant mechanical and electrical equipment to clearly defined criteria.
• Understanding of the critical facilities environment and the working restrictions applicable to such environments.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office applications.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work under pressure with changing priorities to meet deadlines.
