Job summary

Amazon seeks a Critical Infrastructure Controls Engineer to support AWS data centers, leading controls development, field engagement, and cross-team collaboration to drive reliability and efficiency.

You will own design reviews, root-cause analyses, and implementation of control solutions across multiple sites, traveling to facilities as needed and partnering with Operations, Design Engineering, and Health & Safety teams.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of industrial or commercial engineering in mission critical facilities including data centers, power generation, or oil and gas facilities.
• Bachelor’s degree in Controls, Electrical, Mechanical, Automation, or an equivalent field.
• Must have a valid US driver’s license and reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Lead post-event engineering analysis for controls incidents and develop corrective actions.
• Develop and maintain controls logic and templates for equipment and systems across facilities.
• Own full lifecycle engineering for pilots, including design reviews and field deployment decisions.
