Job summary

Amazon is seeking a Data Center Controls Engineer to join the global controls team. You will troubleshoot, manage projects and maintain BMS/EPMS systems in AWS data centers, working with generators, chillers and power equipment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
• Experience with Industrial control systems, both hardware and software.
• 4+ years of general contractor and vendor management work for construction and projects.
• 5+ years of experience with industrial controls in critical environments.

Responsibilities

• Train and assist customers with BMS/EPMS design, validation, installation and operation.
• Provide technical assistance to operations during data center life cycle.
• Develop scope, schedule, budget, and LOE for BMS/EPMS projects.
• Manage scope, schedule, finance and execution of BMS/EPMS improvement projects.
• Participate in on-call schedule to provide BMS/EPMS support.
• Attend meetings, report status to stakeholders and management.
• Review, implement and troubleshoot control sequences of operation.
