Job summary

STO Building Group is seeking a Superintendent to lead and complete assigned construction projects on a fast‑paced job site in Kansas City, MO. You will coordinate scheduling, procurement, and field operations, while collaborating with the Project Manager, subcontractors, and clients to ensure on‑time, on‑budget delivery.

Strong leadership, communication, and problem‑solving skills are essential to drive project success.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or construction field with 3+ years of superintendent experience.
• 5+ years of commercial construction and/or MEP experience.
• Experience with Mission Critical/Data Center projects preferred.
• Valid driver's license and ability to travel to project sites.
• Reads blueprints accurately and understands building codes.

Responsibilities

• Plan construction procedures based on specs, schedules, and staffing requirements.
• Coordinate with Project Manager to develop and adjust look-ahead schedules.
• Direct procurement of tools and materials to meet schedules.
• Coordinate pre-construction meetings and review scope with subs and clients.
• Ensure safety policies and quality standards are followed.
