Job summary

Prime Data Centers is seeking a Data Center Construction Scheduler to support planning, scheduling, and execution of large-scale data center projects onsite in Austin, TX. You will develop and manage detailed schedules, coordinating with general contractors, subcontractors, engineers, architects, and project managers to keep timelines aligned with scope and budget.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Project Management, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• At least 5 years in construction scheduling; minimum 2 years on data center/mission-critical projects.
• Strong knowledge of construction processes, phases, sequencing, esp. in MEP-heavy environments.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
• Ability to work in fast-paced, high-pressure environments with tight deadlines.
• Experience with BIM, Procore, or other construction management tools.
• Scheduling certification such as PMI-SP or AACE PSP is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop, manage, and update detailed construction schedules.
• Coordinate with general contractors, subcontractors, engineers, architects, and project managers to update timelines.
• Integrate procurement and permitting timelines into the master schedule.
• Analyze schedule impacts and propose mitigation strategies.
• Generate and distribute regular schedule reports, including look-aheads and critical path analyses.
• Facilitate scheduling meetings and coordinate across stakeholders to align milestones.
• Monitor progress and flag schedule risks, bottlenecks, or delays.
• Ensure schedules comply with obligations, goals, and client expectations.
• Support earned value analysis, productivity tracking, and reporting.
• Participate in project closeout with final schedules, lessons learned, and performance metrics.
