Job summary

Vantage Data Centers is seeking a hands-on Construction Scheduler based on-site in Shackelford County, Texas. You will drive program-wide schedules, create detailed plans, and partner with Project Controls to accelerate speed to market.

You will build and review schedules, analyze critical paths, and perform risk analyses using P6 and Acumen Fuse. A strong background in construction documents and data center projects is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Quantity Estimating, or relevant discipline.
• 3-5 years related work experience.
• Data Center experience is strongly preferred.
• Understand the Critical Path Method of scheduling theoretically and as it applies to projects.
• Ability to understand construction documents at all levels of design.
• Expert knowledge of Primavera Scheduling Software (P6, latest Version).
• Moderate experience using Procore & Power BI.
• Extensive experience using Microsoft Office software tools such as Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, and Word.
• Travel required is up to 50% based on business needs.

Responsibilities

• Develop policies and procedures for scheduling and facilitating user training with internal and external stakeholders.
• Prepare conceptual and detailed schedules.
• Contribute to planning and sequencing of activities from concept through commissioning.
• Define activities, durations, logic, and interface between activities and resource loading.
• Develop schedule training guidelines and roll out to teams.
• Create, review, and analyze critical path schedules independently and efficiently.
• Develop comprehensive plans that communicate programs, projects, and strategic goals.
• Represent a realistic planning approach for Construction customers.
• Communicate effectively through verbal, written, and graphical means.
• Monitor schedule performance data and issue schedule reports.
• Understand cost estimating and productivity in establishing schedule parameters.
• Investigate and incorporate project constraints in planning effort.
• Perform Time Impact Analysis and Claims analyzation.
• Utilize Acumen Fuse or similar schedule diagnostic tools.
• Develop schedule variance analysis.
• Work with peers on continuous improvement of processes.
• Run schedule risk scenarios based on Monte Carlo and other risk analyses.
