Job summary

The Weitz Company is seeking a Project Manager (various levels) for our Mission Critical Construction team on a hyperscale data center project in San Marcos, TX. The PM will profitably manage all administrative and field construction activities to quality standards while maintaining relationships with stakeholders.

Lead subcontractors and field staff, manage the project schedule and budget, and drive safety and compliance.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years field and project construction management experience.
• Experience in a fast-paced environment.
• Proven ability to mentor others and develop talent.
• Data center experience strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Construct project per plans, schedule, specs, and quality standards.
• Lead subcontractors and field personnel on site.
• Oversee project safety per Safety Policy.
• Collaborate with PMs to manage schedule, budget, and staff.
• Develop and maintain project schedules; two-week look-ahead.
• Assist buyout and selection of major subs.
• Identify cost-saving and schedule-improvement opportunities.
• Ensure documentation: submittals, logs, and closeout.
• Review contract terms and ensure compliance.
• Adhere to company standards; perform other duties.
