Job summary

The Weitz Company is seeking a Project Manager for our Mission Critical Construction team on a hyperscale data center project in San Marcos, TX. The PM will oversee multiple medium to large projects, ensuring proper safety, schedule, and budget controls while building strong stakeholder relationships.

The role requires leadership, mentoring, and a track record in field and project construction management with a preference for data center experience.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years in field and project construction management.
• Experience in fast-paced environments.
• Proven leadership and mentoring ability.
• Data center experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Construct the project per plans, schedule, specs and standards.
• Lead subcontractors and field staff on site.
• Champion project safety per Safety Policy.
• Collaborate with PMs to manage schedule, budget and staffing.
• Develop/maintain schedule using scheduling software; prepare two-week lookahead.
• Assist buyout and selection of major subs.
• Suggest cost reductions, schedule improvements, scope reductions, and quality gains.
• Ensure timely, accurate project documents (closeouts, submittals, logs).
• Review and enforce contract terms.
• Adhere to company policies and standards.
• Other duties as assigned.
