Job summary

Netrality Data Centers seeks a Construction Project Manager to lead and oversee capital improvement projects across its portfolio. You will work with site teams from initiation to closeout, ensuring safety, quality, and on-time delivery while coordinating with engineers, architects, and contractors.

The role requires strong PM experience in building systems, a BA or higher, and proficiency in construction software; growth opportunities exist within the team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in construction management, architecture, business development, or similar strongly preferred
• Data Center or telecommunications industry experience strongly preferred
• Proven working experience in construction management, 5+ years strongly preferred
• Knowledge of construction management processes, means and methods
• Knowledge of building products, construction details and relevant rules, regulations, and quality standards
• Understanding of all facets of the construction process
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints
• Familiarity with construction management software packages
• Competent in conflict and crisis management
• Excellent time and project management skills
• Advanced knowledge of Word, Excel and software: MRI, Avid, Procore, BIM, Primavera or MS Project is a plus
• Excellent communicator, articulating complex analysis and solutions
• Detail-oriented problem solver with win-win attitude
• Experience working independently and collaboratively; meeting hard deadlines
• Ability to work cross-functionally with ease
• Highest ethical and professional conduct and integrity

Responsibilities

• Oversee construction projects within the Netrality portfolio from start to finish
• Support budgeting and cost estimating processes
• Resolve issues with subcontractors, engineers, architects, and other contributors
• Conduct and document all project meetings
• Review and approve payment applications and closeout documents
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and building codes
• Evaluate risks and remediation strategies for projects
• Collaborate with subcontractors, engineers, architects, and project team
• Ensure all project deadlines are met
• Provide regular progress reports to stakeholders
• Handle environmental or local community issues arising during projects
• Conduct site checks to monitor progress and quality
• Maintain ethical, professional relations with contractors and tenants
• Stay updated on construction process technology
• Participate in adhoc projects as requested
