Job summary

STRM is partnering with a major electrical contractor on Data Center projects in West and Central Phoenix. The role focuses on Project Engineering and Document Control, coordinating bids, scopes, and shop drawings with Senior Project Engineers and Project Managers.

The ideal candidate has a construction/engineering degree, 3+ years of general contracting experience on large commercial buildings, and strong proficiency in Revit and Bluebeam, with a focus on MEP coordination and clear

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering or related field or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years of general contracting experience on large commercial projects.
• Proficiency in Revit and Bluebeam for project documentation.
• Experience coordinating MEP systems and complex structures a plus.

Responsibilities

• Support estimating, schedules, contracts and blueprints understanding.
• Prepare scope of work instructions and bid packages for subcontractors and vendors.
• Use the project management system to review and approve shop drawings, submittals and safety requirements.
• Ensure materials and equipment are released for fabrication with adequate lead time.
• Acquire and check subcontractor pricing and assist in assembling change quotations.
• Solid understanding of project contract documents.
• Build relationships with customers, design teams, subs, suppliers and user groups reflecting core values.
• Prepare and distribute meeting minutes.
