Job summary

Weitz is seeking a Project Engineer in Houston to support project teams with document control, RFIs, submittals, and schedule coordination. You will prepare logs, assist with change orders, and help ensure plans and specs are followed.

Ideal candidates have an industry-related degree (or equivalent experience), prior internship or project engineering exposure, and strong MS Office skills. Visa sponsorship is not available.

Qualifications

• Industry-related degree required; combination with education/experience may be considered.
• Prior construction internship or project engineering experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Organize, review, and post construction documents and drawings.
• Collaborate on RFIs and submittals for accuracy against plans.
• Assist inspections, audits, and non-conformance logs.
• Monitor material deliveries and maintain project logs.
• Support subcontractor changes and draft change orders.
• Assist schedule management and closeout activities.
• Prepare as-built drawings and assist with warranty processes.
