Job summary

Atlas Connections in Lancaster, PA, is seeking an Assistant Project Manager to support large-scale data center construction projects from preconstruction through turnover. You will collaborate with GC, subs, consultants, and vendors to keep milestones on schedule and maintain project docs.

This role requires 3–5 years of PM/CM experience, data center or mission-critical exposure preferred, and travel to active sites nationwide.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of project management or construction management experience.
• Data center, mission-critical, industrial, healthcare, semiconductor, or other complex MEP construction experience preferred.
• Strong understanding of construction administration, document control, RFIs, submittals, and change management.

Responsibilities

• Support the Project Manager in delivering data center construction projects from preconstruction through commissioning and turnover.
• Coordinate with general contractors, subcontractors, consultants, and vendors to ensure project milestones are achieved on schedule.
• Manage project documentation, including RFIs, submittals, meeting minutes, change orders, drawing revisions, and closeout documentation.
• Assist in developing and maintaining project schedules, budgets, cost reports, and progress tracking.
• Monitor construction activities to ensure compliance with contract requirements, quality standards, and safety expectations.
• Participate in project meetings and provide timely updates to internal teams and external stakeholders.
• Help identify project risks, coordinate issue resolution, and support change management efforts.
• Collaborate with engineering, design, commissioning, and operations teams to ensure seamless project execution.
• Support commissioning activities, punch list management, and final project turnover.
