Job summary

Align Communications in the Atlanta metro area is seeking an experienced Construction Manager to oversee the fit-out of hyperscale data center white space within colocation environments. You will manage all tenant fit-out construction activities, coordinate trades, ensure quality, and deliver mission-critical infrastructure onsite.

The ideal candidate has 5-10+ years in data center construction, strong knowledge of containment, overhead conveyance, structural supports, and cooling systems.

Qualifications

• 5-10+ years of construction management experience in data centers or mission-critical environments.
• Experience managing white space fit-out or tenant-improvement projects in colocations.
• Strong knowledge of construction sequencing, trades coordination, and site management.
• Ability to manage multiple subcontractors and deliver projects on schedule.
• Familiarity with QA/QC processes for overhead installations and supports.

Responsibilities

• Lead on-site construction management for data center white space fit-out projects
• Oversee installation of containment systems, overhead cable tray, ladder racks, and structural supports
• Coordinate with general contractors, subcontractors, and client stakeholders
• Ensure safety compliance and site protocols
• Monitor schedule and budget, identify and resolve risks
• Review drawings, submittals, RFIs, and shop drawings related to supports
• Support commissioning and handover processes
