Job summary

US Signal is seeking a Data Center Construction Manager to lead mission-critical builds from design through delivery, coordinating engineering, utilities, contractors, and customers to keep projects on schedule and aligned with business goals.

This role demands ownership, travel 25-35%, and the ability to navigate permitting, power procurement, and complex infrastructure. You will translate complex requirements into actionable plans and ensure a smooth handoff to operations.

Qualifications

• Executive leadership and relationship management with customers, utility providers, contractors, and stakeholders.
• Proven construction program leadership for data center projects.
• Strategic problem solving for permitting, utility procurement, and build challenges.
• Experience with power, cooling, and other data center infrastructure.
• Experience with permitting and land development processes.
• Willingness to travel 25–35%.
• Valid driver’s license and insurability.

Responsibilities

• Partner with engineering through design, preconstruction, then lead execution to construction completion.
• Own the site permitting process for new and expanding data center locations.
• Drive power and utility procurement strategy, negotiating with utility providers.
• Be the face of major construction projects for customers, managing executive relationships and alignment.
• Lead the handoff from construction to operations for seamless transition.
• Represent US Signal with customers, partners, and communities as we grow into new markets.
