Job summary

Jacobs is seeking a Data Center Construction Manager for a Corpus Christi, TX project. You will lead pre-construction and construction activities, coordinate with the Owner and Jacobs, and manage a team of field professionals to deliver the data center on time and within budget.

You will apply BIM, Lean principles, and solid scheduling practices, ensuring safety and quality across all work. A Bachelor’s degree and 5+ years of related experience are required, with OSHA 30 or equivalent within 60

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, construction management or an equivalent combination of education, training and/or practical work experience.
• 5+ years of experience on large building or civil projects.
• Experience leading a Data Center project team and managing subcontractor and vendors.
• Project experience relating to Data Centers and/or Data Center upfits.
• Knowledgeable of 120VAC electrical power tie‑ins, controls wiring, fiber terminations and splicing, network cabling, and I/O installation.
• Knowledgeable of NFPA70E and OSHA 30 or willing to achieve within 60 days.

Responsibilities

• Implement Jacobs Beyond‑Zero safety culture.
• Conduct constructability reviews and pre‑construction planning.
• Develop and implement construction schedules.
• Plan commissioning and micro‑scheduling activities.
• Lead a Data Center project team of 5+ and oversee subcontractors/vendors.
• Review, verify, and approve contractor and vendor execution plans.
• Monitor progress and provide detailed reporting to Owners and Jacobs management.
• Lead daily and weekly contractor meetings to drive safety, schedule, and cost.
• Establish defect notification and remediation processes with contractors.
