Job summary

Jacobs is seeking a Data Center Construction Manager for a Corpus Christi, TX project. You will lead pre-construction and construction activities, ensuring safety, schedule alignment, and quality with the Owner and Jacobs leadership. This role supports a Data Center program with a $10M+ TIC scope and requires strong team leadership.

Hybrid work approach; base salary range is $99,000.00 to $136,200.00, with compensation determined by location, skills, and experience.

Qualifications

• Five+ years of experience on large building or civil projects.
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, construction management or similar.
• Experience leading a Data Center project team and managing subcontractors.
• Data Center upfits experience.
• Knowledge of 120VAC power tie-ins, sensors and related wiring.
• Knowledgeable of NFPA70E.
• Strong CPM scheduling and commissioning knowledge.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Proficiency with MS Office and project management software.
• Ability to read contracts, drawings, specs and schedules.
• Familiarity with BIM and Lean methods.
• OSHA 30 certification (or willing to obtain within 60 days).

Responsibilities

• Lead pre-construction planning and site logistics.
• Develop and implement construction schedules.
• Oversee Data Center projects and field teams.
• Review contractor and vendor execution plans.
• Monitor progress and report to Owners and Jacobs management.
• Lead daily/weekly contractor meetings for safety, schedule and cost.
• Drive safety culture and Lean/BIM initiatives.
• Coordinate commissioning planning and defect remediation.
