Ryan Companies US, Inc. is seeking an experienced Construction Cost Manager to lead hyperscale data center projects with a sharp focus on cost control, budgeting, procurement, and profitability from concept through completion.

The role requires proactive leadership, rigorous financial reporting, tender management, and the ability to translate complex financial data into clear guidance for clients and project teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Finance, Quantity Surveying, or a related field.
• 1 year of project experience in hyperscale or colocation data center construction.
• 5-7 years progressive experience in a project or cost management role within commercial construction.
• Experience with full-cycle cost management for large-scale projects (ideally $50M+).
• Experience managing procurement, tender processes, and change orders.
• Procore and Building Connected proficiency.
• Strong negotiation, analytical, and communication skills.
• Detail-oriented with ownership mindset.

Responsibilities

• Lead full-cycle cost management from concept through completion.
• Define budgets with clients and maintain robust cost controls.
• Create cost plans and forecasts at design milestones.
• Review design options for cost implications and accuracy.
• Deliver lifecycle cost models and benchmarking data.
• Evaluate subcontractor change orders per contract.
• Prepare tender documentation and manage tender processes.
• Lead bid leveling and compliance reviews.
• Support pencil requisitions and final accounts with subcontractors.
• Coordinate with client finance for accurate reporting.
• Present cost reports and risk assessments to stakeholders.
