Job summary

Ryan Companies US, Inc. is seeking an experienced Construction Cost Manager to lead hyperscale data center projects in the Chicago area. You will own cost control, budgets, procurement, and change management to ensure profitability from concept to completion.

This role requires a proactive leader with strong negotiation, analytical, and communication skills, plus 5–7 years in cost/project management within commercial construction; Procore and Building Connected experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Finance, Quantity Surveying, or a related field.
• 5-7 years of progressive experience in a project management or cost management role within the commercial construction industry.
• Experience in full-cycle cost management for large-scale projects (ideally $50M+).
• Proficiency with Procore, Building Connected, and scheduling/estimating tools.

Responsibilities

• Lead full-cycle cost management from concept through completion with robust cost controls.
• Prepare monthly cost reports and risk assessments for stakeholders.
• Manage tender documentation, bid leveling, and procurement reviews.
• Analyze contractual terms and coordinate with client finance for reporting and controls.
