Job summary

QTS Data Centers seeks a Development Project Manager (Q-Systems: Connectivity) to lead telecom and networking design, pre-construction, and construction across multiple projects. You will coordinate with installation contractors, engineers, vendors, and operations staff to ensure progress and quality.

You will manage budgets, schedules, reviews, and commissioning to ensure compliance with QTS standards while driving process improvements and collaboration with facility operations teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience in technology, science or engineering.
• 4–8 years of professional experience in technology systems—security, and/or network infrastructure design/implementation.
• Experience with Microsoft Office suite.
• Willingness to travel up to 50% of the time (about every other week for 2–3 days).
• US Citizenship is required by law for this position due to federal contracts.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage Q-Systems Telecom & Networking design, pre-construction and construction activities on multiple projects.
• Interact daily with contractors, design consultants, engineers, vendors, and Data Center staff.
• Oversee budgets, schedules, and status reports for multiple campuses.
• Review designs for compliance with system standards and design documents.
• Oversee commissioning to ensure systems meet standards and design.
