Job summary

Meta seeks a Connectivity Engineer to join the Design Engineering and Construction team, delivering site-level support for DEC telecommunication projects in data centers. You will manage full project lifecycles from kickoff to production turnover, collaborating with Data Center Headquarters, contractors, and global centers.

You will lead scheduling, budget review, milestones, and safety practices while coordinating with installation partners to ensure on-time, quality delivery and continuous

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in project management within data center, telecommunications, or construction environments.
• Experience engaging and guiding stakeholders.
• Experience providing solutions to construction related problems.
• Experience with MS Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) and MS Project.

Responsibilities

• Project Planning & Control - create, maintain, and report on-site project scope, schedules, and milestones.
• Learnings - review projects for efficiencies and document data points for field coordination.
• Forecasting - support forecasting and budget efforts and ensure clear handoffs between teams.
• Technical Reviews - establish milestones for equipment purchase and review contractor selection for structured cabling work.
• Metrics - report progress and risks to key stakeholders.
• Workflow - coordinate pre-project planning, handoffs, and design delivery with vendors and teams.
• Vendor Field Management - manage connectivity activities on site and build relationships with partners.
• Quality Assurance - perform inspections to ensure DEC quality standards and constructability.
