Job summary

Meta seeks a Connectivity Engineer for the Design Engineering and Construction team to lead on-site connectivity projects in data centers. You will manage the full project life-cycle, coordinating with internal teams, on-site partners, and global data centers to ensure timely delivery and high quality.

Responsibilities include planning, forecasting, vendor coordination, and rigorous safety adherence to meet DEC standards.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of project management in data center, telecommunications, or construction environments.
• Experience engaging and guiding stakeholders.
• Experience providing solutions to construction related problems.
• Experience with MS Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) and MS Project

Responsibilities

• Plan and control on-site project scope, schedules, and milestones with the site team.
• Review projects for schedule and budget efficiencies; document data for field coordination.
• Support forecasting and budget efforts; communicate project status to partners.
• Assist with equipment selection and contractor reviews for structured cabling in data centers.
• Report progress and risks to key stakeholders on-site and remotely as needed.
• Coordinate pre-project planning, handoffs, and design verification; manage change orders.
• Manage vendor field activities, set expectations, and foster safe, collaborative work.
• Perform on-site quality inspections to ensure DEC standards and code compliance.
• Lead technical reviews and align with Meta standards for design and installation.
• Develop solutions for in-field scope gaps; support design reviews and BOM checks.
• Engage cross-functional teams to ensure timely deliverables in new builds and retrofits.
• Ensure safety obligations are met and promote a safety-first culture.
• Coordinate with logistics, vendors, and suppliers for end-to-end material flow.
