Fluor is seeking a senior engineer to lead the Data Center commissioning and turnover processes in Greenville, SC. You will oversee pre-commissioning, commissioning, start-up, and testing activities, ensuring a successful hand-over to the client.

The role requires extensive experience, strong communication, and the ability to coordinate with engineering, procurement, construction management, and field teams to deliver a complete hand-over. Travel may be required as project needs dictate.

Qualifications

• Accredited four-year degree in applicable field; 18 years of related experience, or a combination of education and directly related experience equal to 22 years if non-degreed.
• Ability to communicate effectively with audiences including management, coworkers, clients, vendors, contractors, and other stakeholders.
• Job related technical knowledge necessary to complete the job.
• Ability to learn and apply knowledge of local, state/province, and federal/national statutes and guidelines.
• Attention to detail and time-conscious, efficient work practices.

Responsabilités

• Provide a planned, documented, and managed engineering and construction approach to the Data Center commissioning and turnover requirements for pre-commissioning, commissioning, start-up, operations and testing and final hand-over of facilities, systems, and equipment to the client.
• Participate in the development of the site quality manual (SQM) with the construction quality manager and engineering discipline leads.
• Participate in development and management of the commissioning and start up budget.
• Participate in subcontractor plans for pre-commissioning, commissioning, training, testing and start up activities.
• Develop and maintain the system centric integrated commissioning and start up schedule; control all costs associated with commissioning and start up labor and equipment; develop a commissioning and turnover plan; and integrate activities and deliverables with engineering, procurement, construction management, and commissioning and turnover.
• Other duties as assigned.
