Amazon Data Services, Inc. is seeking a Data Center Chief Engineer to oversee electrical, mechanical, and life-safety systems across AWS facilities.

You will lead the DCEO Engineering Team, coordinate maintenance, manage on-site technicians, vendors, and capacity planning while ensuring 100% availability and top-tier customer service. The role requires a BS in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering, strong vendor management experience, and hands-on data center operations expertise; experience with

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.
Experience in vendor management.
Experience in data center or other critical environments.
Experience in data center engineering or operations.
Experience with Microsoft Office including Outlook, Word, and Excel.

Responsibilities

Manage and lead the DCEO Engineering Team.
Establish performance benchmarks, conduct analysis, and prepare reports on critical facility operations.
Oversee on-site management of shift technicians, sub-contractors and vendors.
Oversee operation of power, cooling, and building monitoring systems.
Coordinate capacity planning and safety, reliability, and efficiency efforts.
Respond to emergencies and ensure high-quality customer service.
