Job summary

CoreSite is seeking a Data Center Capacity Analyst to drive inventory management, capacity analysis, and continuous process improvements across cross-functional teams. The role emphasizes collaboration with Product, Sales Engineering, and General Management to deliver actionable insights and dashboards.

The ideal candidate will bring a strong finance/business operations background, proficiency with AutoCAD/Revit, and experience with Tableau or Power BI to optimize space and power inventory

Qualifications

• 4-year degree with a major in finance, business, or related field preferred
• Coursework in Engineering is a plus
• 3-5 Years of prior relevant work experience

Responsibilities

• Inventory Management and Reporting: Manage space and power inventory records using inventory management software.
• Inventory Management and Reporting: Maintain and standardize floor planning drawings, electrical, and mechanical schematics using AutoCAD and Revit.
• Inventory Management and Reporting: Prepare and analyze capacity and inventory dashboard reports for Product, Sales Engineering, and General Management teams.
• Inventory Management and Reporting: Identify highly utilized electrical equipment, conduct research mitigation strategies and support cross functional team in mitigation tasks.
• Business Process Improvement: Collaborate with organizational leaders to establish and monitor performance against operational objectives.
• Business Process Improvement: Methodically implement business process improvements to enhance data accuracy and speed of information delivery.
• Business Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for process optimization by analyzing data and presenting actionable recommendations.
• Data Analysis and Insights: Conduct research and analysis on space and power inventory to support Sales and Data Center Operations.
• Data Analysis and Insights: Analyze and present trends in customer metrics, order management tracking, and capacity utilization to inform business decisions.
• Data Analysis and Insights: Create ad hoc reports and provide value-added insights for various organizational needs.
• Stakeholder Communication: Present analysis results and research findings to cross-functional teams, including actionable insights to drive organizational improvements.
• Stakeholder Communication: Support internal teams by providing data-driven recommendations to optimize operations and meet business goals.
