Job summary

CBRE DIRECTLINE is seeking a Data Center Cable Installer to install, decommission, and maintain network cabling within data center environments. You will work with cabinets, fiber and copper cabling, cable pathways, and perform connectivity testing while following safety and quality standards.

The role requires the ability to read blueprints and port maps, and to collaborate with stakeholders to ensure successful project execution in fast-paced technical settings.

Qualifications

• 4 years’ experience in a data center environment.
• Deep knowledge of network cabling and industry best practices.
• Experience reading blueprints, port maps, and technical documentation.

Responsibilities

• Installation/decommissioning of network and cabling infrastructure in a Data Center environment.
• Install, set, and level network cabinets.
• Cut and install uni-strut and fiber troughs.
• Install pull strings through conduits, in ceilings, and down walls.
• Label/Install copper and fiber jumpers and perform 4 pair continuity testing.
