Job summary

CBRE | DIRECTLINE, a CBRE Data Center Solutions business, seeks a Cable Technician – Technician II to install and decommission network cabling in data center environments, ensuring safety and quality. You will document work, interpret blueprints, and collaborate with stakeholders to drive efficient project execution.

The role requires hands-on experience with copper and fiber cabling, splicing, testing, and data center operations, delivering high-quality workmanship and meeting industry

Qualifications

• Ability to pull all types of low voltage cable.
• Ability to read floor plans and blueprints.
• Experience with field terminations and labeling.
• Experience in data center environments.
• Strong adherence to safety and quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Install/decommission network and cabling infrastructure in a Data Center environment.
• Deliver sustainable and repeatable solutions and processes, with an eye on improvement.
• Provide structured feedback on project progress to Stakeholders.
• Exhibit quality workmanship and maintain Data Center cleanliness.
• Follow production, safety and quality standards, codes, and industry best practices.
• Collaborate with Stakeholders to remove project obstacles.
• Read blueprints and build documentation/redline work.
• Broad understanding of Data Center infrastructure technologies.
