Job summary

CBRE Group, Inc. | DIRECTLINE is seeking a Cable Technician - Technician II to install and decommission network cabling in a data center environment. You will handle copper and fiber cabling, splicing, testing, and maintain accurate documentation.

Use your knowledge of wiring schemes and testing procedures to deliver quality workmanship, while adhering to safety standards and industry best practices and collaborating with stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Ability to read and understand job floor plans.
• Familiar with wiring schemes and testing.
• Capable of pulling low voltage cables and performing terminations.
• Experience with field terminations and labeling.

Responsibilities

• Install/decommission network and cabling in a Data Center.
• Deliver sustainable, repeatable processes with an eye for improvement.
• Provide project progress feedback to stakeholders.
• Maintain high workmanship and Data Center cleanliness.
• Follow production, safety, and quality standards.
