Job summary

TEKsystems is seeking intermediate and expert level Networking and Cable Infrastructure Technicians to support operations in a dynamic Data Center environment in Mesa, AZ. This hands-on role focuses on copper and fiber cabling, structured wiring, and reliable network layouts.

Qualifications

• 2–3+ years hands-on experience in network cabling, structured wiring, or data center infrastructure.
• Familiarity with network standards (TIA/EIA), cable testing tools, and labeling best practices.
• Experience with fiber optic and copper cabling, including patching and troubleshooting.

Responsibilities

• Perform network and cable infrastructure installations, including running, terminating, and testing copper and fiber optic cables.
• Support data center operations by maintaining and troubleshooting network connectivity and structured cabling systems.
• Respond to support tickets and resolve issues related to network connectivity and physical infrastructure.
• Conduct diagnostics and implement solutions for hardware and cabling faults.
• Maintain accurate documentation of network layouts, cable paths, and hardware configurations.
• Assist with hardware deployments, including circuit board installations and server racking.
• Perform regular audits of network and cabling inventory.
