Job summary

TEKsystems is hiring multiple Data Center Structured Cabling Technicians for a large data center project. This onsite role in Pasco, WA involves installing copper and fiber cabling, routing, labeling and testing in accordance with ANSI/TIA standards, plus supporting rack integration and cable management.

The position requires 2-5+ years of industry experience in construction, low voltage, cabling or related fields, with the ability to work independently and with large teams.

Qualifications

• 2-5+ years of industry experience in construction, low voltage, cabling or related fields.
• Ability to work independently and within large teams in fast-paced environments.
• Experience managing onsite relationships across multiple internal and external teams.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and adapt to changes during onsite implementations.

Responsibilities

• Structured cabling installation including routing, termination, labeling and testing per ANSI/TIA standards.
• Support rack integration, device mounting, cable management and connectivity for network infrastructure.
• Execute equipment staging, asset labeling, site prep and deployment activities for projects.
• Familiarity with data center telecom rooms, MDF/IDF installations and infrastructure.
• Collaborate with project teams to meet timelines, quality and customer requirements.
