Job summary

TEKsystems in Social Circle, GA is seeking technicians with strong data center cabling and installation skills. The role involves building closets, mounting hardware, terminating blocks, and routing cables for inside and outside building data-center work.

Candidates should be able to pull and manage conduit, install grounding, and operate common hand tools. This is an onsite contract position with a pay rate of $22 per hour.

Qualifications

• Experience with data center cabling and wiring
• Ability to terminate and test copper and fiber cabling
• Familiarity with install standards and safety guidelines

Responsibilities

• Layout and install wireways, buss duct, cable tray, switches and receptacles
• Build closets with backboards, cross connections, racks, patch panels, fiber and hardware
• Install grounding for racks, equipment, and cabling
• Terminate IDC connections (110/66 blocks and patch panels)
• Pull wires and supervise conduit installations in data centers
• Operate handheld tools (cable cutters, drills, compression tools) as required
