Job summary

CBRE is seeking a proactive Data Center technician to install and decommission network and cabling infrastructure in a live data center environment. The role requires hands-on work, safety compliance, and clear communication with stakeholders.

You will read blueprints, manage copper and fiber cabling, and ensure high workmanship and clean site practices while following industry standards and internal processes.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of basic telecom hand tools.
• Clear understanding of job safety requirements.
• Familiarity with wiring schemes and testing.
• Ability to read blueprints and site drawings.
• Experience with copper and fiber cabling installations.

Responsibilities

• Install/decommission network and cabling infrastructure in a Data Center environment.
• Deliver sustainable and repeatable solutions and processes.
• Provide structured feedback on project progress to Stakeholders.
• Exhibit quality workmanship and maintain Data Center cleanliness.
• Follow all production, safety and quality standards and best practices.
• Collaborate with Stakeholders to remove project obstacles.
• Read and understand blueprints and building documentation/redline work.
• Develop a broad understanding of Data Center infrastructure technologies.
