Job summary

CBRE is seeking a hands-on Data Center Cabling Technician to install and decommission network and cabling infrastructure in a fast-paced data center environment. You will follow standards, read blueprints, and ensure clean, safe installations.

Ideal candidates have experience with low voltage cabling, terminations, and labeling, and can work under supervision with attention to detail. This role is on-site in Charlotte, NC, with opportunities for growth within CBRE.

Qualifications

• Experience with data center cabling and network install.
• Ability to read blueprints and wiring diagrams.
• Knowledge of safety rules and best practices in data centers.
• Familiarity with terminating copper and fiber cables.
• Proven ability to organize and label cable runs clearly.

Responsibilities

• Install and decommission network and cabling in Data Center environments.
• Deliver repeatable, improved processes and solutions.
• Provide status updates to stakeholders on project progress.
• Maintain data center cleanliness and quality workmanship.
• Follow safety, codes, and industry best practices.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to remove project obstacles.
• Read blueprints and TC drawings to guide work.
• Understand data center infrastructure technologies.
