Job summary

National Technologies (NTI), a Network Connex Company, seeks an Area Director to lead engineering, splicing, and data center installations in the Austin market. You will partner with department leaders to align strategic plans with company goals and ensure profitability while expanding customer relationships.

The role requires strong leadership, a track record in fiber optics and data centers, and the ability to manage operations, hire and mentor staff, and drive continuous improvement across

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
• Master’s degree preferred
• 3+ years as Project Manager, Senior Project Manager or Operations Manager
• 5+ years leading productive, cohesive teams
• 5+ years of fiber optic and/or data center experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Lead engineering, splicing and data center installations in the market
• Manage market operations and staffing for efficiency
• Drive revenue growth and maintain customer relationships
• Oversee meetings at national and regional levels
• Ensure profitability and adherence to schedules and budgets
