Job summary

KCI, LLC seeks an Access Control Technician III to support security and low voltage deployments across Ashburn data center projects. You will work on new builds and existing facilities, with local travel to market sites and a day shift with flexibility for project needs.

Qualifications

• Prior experience as an Access Control Technician III or equivalent advanced field experience.
• Ability to pass site onboarding and background/security checks.
• Experience on active construction sites and live data center environments.

Responsibilities

• Install, terminate, and wire access control systems and hardware.
• Pull, route, label, and dress low voltage cabling.
• Install and wire door contacts, exit devices, motion detectors, and locks.
• Terminate access control panels, controllers, and boards.
• Set up structured cabling and MDF/head-end room builds.
• Mount, install, and configure IP cameras and assign IP addresses.
• Perform firmware upgrades and troubleshoot installed systems.
• Read wiring diagrams and installation plans; maintain clean, professional work.
• Travel locally between Ashburn project sites and coordinate with teams.
