Levi & Korsinsky, LLP is expanding its consumer practice to lead high-impact data breach and privacy class actions. You will own cases from inception, work autonomously, and mentor junior attorneys. The role requires 5–7 years in litigation, strong writing and advocacy skills, and experience with data breach matters. A competitive, fully remote national option is available.

Qualifications

• J.D. from an accredited law school and admitted in at least one U.S. jurisdiction.
• 5–7 years of litigation experience, with direct data breach exposure preferred.
• Strong writing, analytical, and oral advocacy skills; independent matter management.

The Opportunity: Levi & Korsinsky is expanding its consumer practice, a high-impact team at the forefront of modern law, with a growing focus on data breach, privacy, and technology-driven consumer litigation. We are seeking an attorney with direct data breach litigation experience who can help drive complex consumer class actions in this rapidly evolving area. We use proprietary technology and data to litigate complex class actions involving data breaches, consumer privacy violations, and other emerging consumer protection claims, pioneering new legal frameworks to hold corporations accountable.

What You’ll Do

• Lead discrete matters within larger consumer class action and data breach portfolios, managing deadlines, filings, and case progression independently.
• Draft and argue substantive motions with supervision; contribute to discovery strategy, deposition preparation, and factual development in complex data breach and privacy litigation.
• Interface directly with clients, co-counsel, and defense counsel, with professionalism and clarity.
• Oversee small teams of junior attorneys or analysts to maintain accuracy, efficiency, and compliance across filings.
• Shape case strategy by identifying emerging trends in consumer privacy, cybersecurity, and data breach law and contributing creative legal theories involving unauthorized data exposure, privacy violations, and technology-driven consumer claims.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with legal ops and tech teams to streamline workflows and leverage LK’s proprietary litigation systems.
• Drive quality and accountability: maintain sub-5% revision rates and ensure deadlines are consistently met.

What You Bring

• J.D. from an accredited law school; admitted and in good standing in at least one U.S. jurisdiction.
• 5–7 years of litigation experience (plaintiff-side, defense, or regulatory), with direct experience handling data breach litigation strongly preferred.
• Demonstrated experience with data breach, privacy, cybersecurity, or related consumer class action matters, including familiarity with the legal and factual issues that arise from unauthorized access, exposure, or misuse of consumer data.
• Proven ability to manage matters independently from initial investigation through motion practice and discovery.
• Exceptional legal writing and analytical skills with minimal need for substantive revision.
• Confidence in oral advocacy — capable of arguing motions or managing depositions under limited supervision.
• Strong organizational discipline and comfort managing multiple active dockets simultaneously.
• Ability to mentor junior attorneys and staff, setting standards of precision and judgment.
• Comfort working with or adapting to tech-enabled litigation systems; familiarity with e-discovery, large-scale document review, data analytics, cybersecurity issues, or automation tools is a plus.

Compensation and Benefits

• Base salary: $120k–170k (remote/Nat’l) $140k–$200k (NYC), commensurate with experience and impact.
• Performance bonuses tied to results and contribution.
