Job summary

Sound Transit is seeking a Technical Project Manager for data and business intelligence initiatives centered on ORCA. The role focuses on planning, coordinating, and delivering medium-to-large analytics projects with multiple stakeholders in a hybrid Seattle setting.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, manage scope and budgets, and ensure governance and testing practices are aligned with program goals. A PMP is preferred, with 5+ years of experience in data-centric projects.

Qualifications

• Five+ years of progressively responsible project management experience, including medium- to large-scale technology projects.
• Experience managing data, BI, analytics, reporting projects and cross-functional teams.
• Strong written and verbal communication; ability to present to both technical and non-technical audiences.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day planning and delivery of medium- to large-scale data, analytics, BI, reporting projects.
• Develop and maintain project plans with scope, objectives, milestones, schedules, and budgets.
• Establish governance, escalation paths, and stakeholder engagement strategies.
