Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking a data operations professional to scope, automate, and deliver reporting workflows for clients and internal teams. You will work with Finance, Engineering, Operations, and Research to translate requirements into scalable solutions.

You will collaborate with software engineers to integrate data sources, optimize database infrastructure, and support product launches with clear data and reporting inputs. Strong communication and Excel skills required.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in data operations, automation, or related roles within financial services.
• Experience managing cross-functional projects with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Bachelor’s degree in quantitative/technical field or equivalent practical experience.

• Scope, coordinate, and deliver automation solutions for investor, lender, and counterparty reporting workflows.
• Support development and maintenance of in-house automation tools and reporting solutions.
• Serve as the primary liaison between Client Service & Reporting and software engineering teams.

• Strong understanding of data pipelines, reporting systems, and database concepts.
• Hands‑on experience with SQL, Python, or similar data and automation tools preferred.
• Experience collaborating with software engineering teams and translating business requirements into technical solutions.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Excel skills required.
• Ability to work effectively with diverse teams across Finance, Engineering, Operations, and Research functions.
• Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative, technical, or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
