Job description

Data Architecture Manager (Accenture LLP; Philadelphia, PA): Accenture LLP has multiple openings for the position Data Architecture Manager in Philadelphia, PA, and the job duties are as follows:

1. Design and implement effective database solutions and data models to store and retrieve organizational data, including architecting overall organizational data strategy (data model designs, database development standards, implementation, and management of data warehouses and data analytics systems) that is in line with client business processes.
2. Design full-stack cloud solutions that fully integrate with customer’s existing cloud infrastructure from data flow, security, DevOps, and user-interface requirements.
3. Create physical and logical architecture solution roadmaps for linking services solutions with client business processes and technologies.
4. Design and develop high volume cloud data ingestion components and ETL solutions to collect data from various internal and external sources, ensure data quality and controls are in place to support various data ingestion inflows and outflow processes.
5. Develop solutions to evaluate architectural alternatives for private, public, and hybrid cloud models, including IaaS, PaaS, and other cloud services.
6. Recommend data governance processes, security standards, and models that will provide architectural guidelines to support the development initiatives.
7. Manage end-to-end data architecture, from the selection of the platform, the design of technical architecture, to the development, testing, and implementation of the proposed solution.
8. Provide consultation and collaborate with technology leaders, business partners, and peer groups regarding long and short-range product features, and partner with the Product Owners and the engineering teams to align the technical design and strategy with the product roadmap.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

Must have a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Technology, Computer Information Systems, Computer Applications, Engineering, or related field, plus 5 years of progressive post-baccalaureate experience in the IT consulting industry. Must have 5 years of experience in each of the following:

1. Creating and optimizing logical and physical data models;
2. Utilizing Extract, Transform, Load tools, including Azure Data Factory and Data Bricks;
3. Utilizing DevOps, Agile methodology, and GitHub;
4. Implementing data security practices and compliance requirements;
5. Implementing data warehousing solutions using Azure Data Lake and Azure Synapse; and
6. Defining and implementing data governance frameworks and best practices to ensure data quality and consistency.

Must have 3 years of experience in each of the following:

1. Driving key architectural and design decisions;
2. Managing projects and providing solutions for complex requirements including data warehouse migration and optimization; and
3. Suggesting improvements on ongoing performance issues.

Must have willingness and ability to travel domestically approximately 80% of the time to meet client needs.
