Overview

MG2, an affiliate of Colliers Engineering & Design, is currently seeking an Architectural Project Manager - Data Centers to join our Client Programs Market team in any of our US offices, including Boston, MA; Philadelphia, PA; Seattle, WA; Albany, NY; and Phoenix, AZ. You will work within our Client Programs (CP) Market, gaining the opportunity to manage global and national building programs, focusing on project and client leadership through all design and delivery phases.

The Project Manager will lead project teams through all phases, including contract management, design, documentation, permitting, and construction administration. Responsibilities include managing project schedules, financial performance, and maintaining strong client relationships while upholding MG2's standards for design excellence and serving as the primary contact for project communication.

Responsibilities

  • Manage project teams across all phases, ensuring deliverables meet contract requirements, schedule, budget, and quality standards.
  • Ensure contracts are in place before project execution begins.
  • Develop and maintain project schedules and staffing plans based on milestones.
  • Create detailed Project Charters and QA/QC plans for all projects.
  • Assist in developing project proposals and responses to RFPs as needed.
  • Monitor financial status regularly and conduct financial reviews with team leads or principals.
  • Review monthly invoicing and billing from consultants.
  • Produce weekly project updates covering deliverables, finances, contracts, and permits.
  • Distribute weekly updates to stakeholders and lead project meetings.
  • Participate in Quality Control procedures, reviewing all external project deliverables.
  • Oversee construction administration activities, including RFI and submittal reviews and attendance at OAC meetings.
  • Review site visit reports and punch lists prior to issuance.
  • Host project debriefs post-construction to identify improvement opportunities.
  • Manage project closeout procedures aligned with contractual obligations.
  • Oversee resources to ensure quality and profitability.
  • Manage team performance, providing feedback and conducting regular check-ins and performance reviews (for people managers).
Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or master's degree in architecture or related field.
  • 8+ years of experience in architecture or design firms.
  • Licensure or certification as a professional preferred.
  • Experience leading teams through all project phases.
  • Knowledge of architectural contracts and procedures.
  • Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, MS Office, and collaboration tools like Bluebeam, Miro, and Teams.
  • Experience with Data Centers is required.
  • Strong English comprehension for communication and documentation.

Compensation ranges from $80,000 to $152,000 annually, depending on qualifications.
