Job summary

MSI is seeking a Data Architect to lead the design of enterprise data architectures and data management within the MSI ecosystem. You will collaborate with Solution Architects, DBAs, BI teams, and business leaders to design Lakehouses and Data Warehouses that support analytics and data science initiatives.

You will develop data strategies, ensure data security, and optimize data migration, integration, and performance across cloud-based environments.

Qualifications

• Ten or more years in data architecture and systems engineering including ten years in a senior position.
• Deep technical expertise in database management and data integrations across multiple platforms.
• Experience with cloud-based data architecture and orchestration tools.

Responsibilities

• Continuously evaluate the firm's data architecture to ensure it meets evolving requirements.
• Evaluate data requirements and align with new system designs.
• Partner with stakeholders to design data architectures supporting integration, analytics, and data science.
• Optimize data lake, data warehouse, and data orchestration processes.
• Develop data migration and integration plans.
• Document conceptual and logical data models.
• Design for semi-structured and unstructured data.
• Own data migration/integration initiatives between business systems.
• Contribute to data management processes and security protocols.
• Optimize all data related functions.
