Job summary

Aligned Data Centers is seeking a highly skilled Data Architect to design robust data architectures, enabling analytics, BI, and AI models across cloud environments. You will lead ingestion from SQL databases, APIs, flat files, and streaming sources while ensuring governance and security.

The role requires expertise in Microsoft Fabric, SQL, Python, and Tableau, with 5+ years in data architecture/BI and strong API capabilities. Austin, TX on-site with strong compensation and benefits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in a technical field or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of data architecture/BI in corporate environments.
• Hands-on experience with Microsoft Fabric and cloud data services.
• Experience with data ingestion, transformation, and ETL/ELT pipelines.
• Experience with API design, development, and management.
• Knowledge of AWS data services (Athena, RDS, Glue, Kinesis, S3) and Azure.
• Proficient in SQL and Python for data querying and processing.
• Able to build interactive dashboards with Tableau.

Responsibilities

• Design end-to-end data architectures, including models, ingestion, transformation, and storage.
• Lead data ingestion from databases, APIs, flat files, and streaming data.
• Develop, manage, and secure API integrations across platforms.
• Architect data solutions across multiple cloud environments.
• Collaborate with teams to align data solutions with business goals.
• Ensure data quality, governance, lineage, and compliance.
• Optimize performance and cost of data infrastructure.
• Support dashboards and reporting for business stakeholders.
• Document architectural standards and best practices.
