Job summary

Aligned Data Centers, LLC seeks a skilled Data Architect to design scalable data architectures and robust ingestion pipelines across databases, APIs, and cloud services. You will drive BI-ready data models, governance, and secure integrations, enabling analytics and AI models.

Must have strong SQL/Python, experience with Microsoft Fabric, and proficiency in Tableau. Collaborate with teams to align data solutions with business goals and ensure cost-effective performance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field; or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of experience in data architecture/ BI in corporate environments.
• Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Fabric and related tools.
• Proven expertise in data ingestion, transformation, and ETL/ELT pipelines.
• Proficiency in API design, development, and management (RESTful, OAuth, etc.).
• Knowledge of AWS data services including Athena, RDS, Glue, Kinesis, and S3.
• Knowledge of Azure features and best practices.
• Experience with data modeling, both relational and dimensional.
• Advanced skills in SQL and Python for data querying and processing.
• Proficiency with Tableau for building interactive dashboards and visualizations.
• Familiarity with modern data governance and security practices.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement end-to-end data architecture solutions, including data models, ingestion and transformation processes, and storage.
• Lead strategies for ingesting data from various sources including databases, APIs, flat files, and streaming data.
• Develop, manage, and secure API integrations for seamless data exchange across platforms.
• Architect and maintain data solutions across multiple cloud environments.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data needs and align architectural solutions with business goals.
• Ensure data quality, governance, lineage, and compliance standards are integrated into all solutions.
• Optimize performance and cost of data infrastructure.
• Support the creation of impactful dashboards and reports that drive insights for business stakeholders.
• Document architectural standards, patterns, and best practices.
