Job summary

Dal-Tile LLC in Dallas, TX is seeking a Data Architect to define and implement our enterprise data architecture strategy supporting analytics, reporting, data governance, cloud modernization, and AI initiatives. You will collaborate with business and technology teams to deliver scalable, secure data solutions.

This role emphasizes migration from legacy platforms to Azure-based technologies, governance and lineage, and collaboration with Data Engineers, BI specialists, SAP teams, and executives

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a relevant field.
• 6-8 years in Data Architecture / Enterprise Architecture / Data Engineering / BI.
• Strong hands-on experience with Azure data and BI services (ADF, Databricks, Storage, SQL, Power BI).
• Experience leading cloud migration initiatives and enterprise environments.
• Experience with SAP data environments and data integration.

Responsibilities

• Define and maintain enterprise data and BI architecture strategy and roadmaps.
• Establish standards for dbt, Azure Databricks, Data Factory, and Power BI deployment.
• Lead architecture reviews and document decisions and patterns.
• Govern data across enterprise applications, SAP, cloud services, and APIs.
• Create architecture diagrams, models, roadmaps, KPIs, and reporting standards.
• Collaborate with Data Engineers, Analytics Engineers, BI specialists, and apps teams to deliver governed analytics.
