Job summary

Insight Enterprise is seeking a Data Architect to join the Data Management team. You will be the backbone of the data infrastructure, building and maintaining data pipelines for AI and analytics, and ensuring data is clean, reliable, and accessible across critical enterprise systems.

You will work with Databricks in a hybrid environment, collaborating with business stakeholders to align data capabilities with strategic goals and ensuring scalable, secure data platforms for BI and analytics

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in data engineering and building production data pipelines.
• Databricks experience for building and managing data lakehouse.
• Hands-on cloud data services experience in GCP and Azure.
• Strong proficiency in ETL/ELT processes.
• Proficiency in Python and SQL; Java is a plus.
• Experience with internal data platforms like Informatica and analytics with Power BI.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and manage enterprise-wide data lakehouse architecture for scalability, performance, and security.
• Optimize the data lakehouse environment, including Databricks, to support data science and BI needs.
• Build and manage complex ETL/ELT pipelines from diverse sources.
• Implement data quality checks and monitoring to ensure data integrity.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to define data requirements and ensure data availability for business use cases.
