Job summary

Wake County Public Schools is seeking a Systems Analyst – Program Management to provide database management, analytics, application support, process improvement, and reporting to support the Building Program and Project Management objectives.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree in CS/IT or a technical field, at least three years of experience in enterprise reporting (SQL, Oracle), data analysis, and experience with web-based and client-based applications.

Qualifications

• Experience developing reports for Enterprise Database Management (SQL, Oracle).
• Proven ability to analyze and optimize data from web applications and to provide custom reports.
• Strong communication skills, both oral and written.
• Experience with data integration and high-volume project reporting.

Responsibilities

• Produces actionable reports using database knowledge and data tools.
• Interacts with users to ensure data availability and reporting needs.
• Performs proactive and reactive analysis, monitoring, and issue resolution in PCM, BI, and related apps.
• Analyzes data file characteristics to support timely loading into the PCM database.
• Installs software releases, tests, and resolves related problems.
• Creates business solutions and designs database approaches.
• Maintains data files and config to ensure data integrity.
• Develops interactive dashboards for internal use highlighting KPIs.
• Supports Building Program reporting on the external website backend.
• Creates and maintains documentation of business processes.
• Develops and enforces security policies for day-to-day system administration.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.
