Job summary

Idaho National Laboratory is seeking a Data Analyst to join the Business Management team in Idaho Falls. This role supports business operations with advanced data analysis, statistical modeling, and data visualization to drive insights and decision making.

The position follows a 9/80 schedule at the Idaho Falls EROB facility with every other Friday off and reports to the Chief Operating Officer for Business Management.

Qualifications

• Level 2: Bachelor’s Degree and 2 years of related experience in Data Science or closely related field, or a Master’s Degree.
• Level 3: Bachelor’s Degree and 5 years of related experience, or a Master’s Degree and 2 years in Data Science or related field.
• Experience with Power BI for data visualization.

Responsibilities

• Perform statistical modeling and analysis to develop metrics, reports and visualizations.
• Work with end-users to understand data needs and develop technical requirements.
• Partner with development and data management to identify data sources.
• Create and maintain statistical models for ongoing review and analysis of data.
• Use visualization tools to generate dashboards, reports and presentations for data storytelling.
