Idaho National Laboratory is hiring a Data Analyst to join our Business Management team in Idaho Falls. The role supports operations through statistical modeling, data analysis, and visualization to develop metrics and dashboards for leadership.

You will collaborate with end-users and data stewards, create and maintain statistical models, and present insights that drive business decisions. The position requires experience with Power BI and related analytics tools, and reports to the Chief

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a data-related field and 2+ years of experience.
• Experience with data visualization tools such as Power BI.
• Ability to analyze structured and unstructured data.
• Knowledge of statistical modeling and data storytelling.

Responsibilities

• Perform statistical modeling and analysis of structured and unstructured datasets to develop metrics, reports and visualizations of trends and patterns.
• Work with business end-users to understand current and future data and analysis needs and develop technical requirements.
• Partner with development and data management roles to identify and capture data required from internal and external sources.
• Create and maintain statistical models for ongoing and ad hoc review and analysis of data.
• Use data visualization programs, tools, and techniques to generate dashboards, reports and presentations that aid in data storytelling, understanding and interpretation of trends and patterns of business importance.
