Job summary

Regions Bank is seeking a Database Reporting Analyst to design, develop, and run database reports using report-writing tools based on end-user requirements in Birmingham, AL. The role emphasizes data management, reporting accuracy, and cross-functional collaboration.

You will own reporting processes, support research teams, and provide actionable metrics while following established guidelines and using SQL/SAS skills to drive improvements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, MIS, Accounting, Business Admin, or related field and five (5) years of reporting and/or data management experience.
• Or High School Diploma and nine (9) years of reporting and/or data management experience.

Responsibilities

• Creates, designs, and runs database reports.
• Updates and performs maintenance on existing reports.
• Handles database administration, data consolidation and management reporting.
• Owns processes, reports, procedures, or products.
• Serves as procedural expert representing a unit or team on cross-function processes or project deliverables.
• Utilizes software to generate metrics and develops actionable recommendations.
• Provides support to research teams or management by collecting data and reporting results.
• Follows established guidelines and identifies and resolves problems using some independence of thought.
• Contributes to workflow or process change and redesign.
• Owns regular reporting and process administration.
• Collaborates with various function teams to achieve business results.
